POST postgraduate awards
The British Psychological Society invites applications for its POST postgraduate award. This provides an opportunity for a postgraduate psychologist to be seconded to the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology to assist in providing objective briefing material for MPs and peers on a psychological topic.
Eligible candidates include all postgraduate students registered for a higher degree by research by PhD or MPhil, in their second or third year of study at the time of application.

Fellowship in Ethics and Society
This scheme enables a PhD student or junior fellow funded through the Wellcome Trust Ethics and Society programme to undertake a three-month fellowship at the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST).
The Wellcome Trust-POST Fellowship allows unique access to a parliamentary and policy-making setting, and supports the Wellcome Trust’s interest in encouraging the application of research. It is intended to develop an awareness of policy environments and processes, and to raise an issue relevant to the Ethics and Society Programme among a parliamentary audience.
Applicants should be in the second or third year of their PhD or in the first year of a fellowship funded by the Ethics and Society Programme.
