Over 200 educators, students, policymakers, IT industry representatives, academics and general public members attended TEL’s final dissemination event on 6th Nov at Royal Society, London. The event featured:
- demos of the eight TEL projects’ hardware and software
- keynote from Minister of State for Universities and Science David Willetts
- premiere of TEL commissioned film ‘Inventing the Future of Learning‘
- expert panel debate chaired by former Education Secretary Charles Clarke
- contributions from TEL Director Professor Richard Noss, Professor Sir Tim O’Shea, Professor Diana Laurillard and Rory Cellan-Jones
The event formed part of the ESRC’s Festival of Social Science. TEL is jointly funded by ESRC and EPSRC
