TEL has contributed to a new Association for Learning Technology (ALT) document – available to download which aims to answer questions posed by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).
The document, entitled ‘Technology in Learning’, addresses seven questions posed by BIS regarding research evidence for what does and doesn’t work in technology enhanced learning.
“ALT and TEL are particularly pleased to have been able to contribute to this review,” said TEL Director Richard Noss in the foreword, “it is highly relevant to three aims of both ALT and TEL, namely to:
- facilitate collaboration between practitioners, researchers, and policy makers
- raise the profile of rigorous research in learning technology
- contribute to the development of policy.”
